Departure organization

9:50am : start of the disabled race
10am : departure of elite runners
Starting at 10:01am : waves of more than 350 participants per minute
Starting Order: no priority, first come first departure
Departure limit time: 11am (whatever the number of participants)

Our speaker-animator will animate the departure of the waves and will motivate the runners during the wait.

Start zone access

The RER line C is the liaison between the departure and arrival :
Paris : “Champs de Mars/Tour Eiffel” or “Invalides” station
Versailles : “Versailles Château” station

Metro : “Bir-Hakeim” and “Trocadéro” are the closest stations of the departure.

Vélib : Station n° 7023 or 7025

Cloakrooms

In Paris : cloakroom-trucks are available at the Iena Bridge (linking the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower across the Seine river), few meters to the entrance of departure zone. Your cloaths must be leave before 9:30am. A ticket given to the deposit will be required back at the finish.

In Versailles : you will find the trucks shortly after the finish line (right side facing the palace).

A suitcase or bulky bag (dimensions greater than 55 x 35 x 20cm) will be systematically refused by the checkroom attendant.

Toilets

Numerous toilets and urinals are available at the following locations :

  • on the “pont d’Iéna”
  • on the “quai Branly”
  • in the waiting area before the start line
